Hi! I'm Riley,
A UX/UI Designer
Based in Halifax NS
I design digital experiences that simplify complex systems and make information more intuitive, accessible, and meaningful.

My work blends UX thinking, interface design, and emerging technologies like AI. I’m especially interested in how AI can enhance user experiences, improve workflows, and help shape more adaptive digital products.
My Work
Recently, I’ve been working with Numus Financial, contributing to a range of digital projects across investment, technology, biotech, and enterprise systems.

This includes designing a responsive website for ReeXploration, a company focused on exploring rare earth elements used in advanced technologies. I also worked on platforms for Torrent Capital, a publicly traded investment company focused on diversified growth across public markets and alternative assets; SONA Nanotech, a biotech company developing nanorod-based cancer therapies and diagnostic technologies; Fortune Bay Corp, involved in gold and uranium exploration projects; and OARO, a digital identity and security technology company working with blockchain-based solutions.

Each project came with its own challenge, from translating highly technical or scientific industries into clear, user-friendly interfaces, to building trust-driven designs for financial and security-focused platforms.

Alongside this, I’ve designed and contributed to several applications, including:
-
Hivo, a space-booking app focused on simple and efficient reservations
-
Wittly and Mossahamati, business management tools designed to streamline operations and workflows
-
EHTP Enterprises Job Fair App, an interview and job fair platform helping attendees discover companies, explore opportunities, and manage interviews in real time
Across all these projects, my focus has been consistent: turning complex systems into clear, structured, and human-centered experiences.
How I Think About AI and Design
I see UX/UI design as a bridge between people and systems. As AI continues to evolve, I’m particularly interested in how it can support better decision-making, reduce friction in user flows, and personalize digital experiences without losing clarity or control.
For me, AI is not just a tool, it’s becoming part of the design process itself.
Outside of Design
Outside of work, I enjoy sketching, basketball, hiking, and cinema. These activities keep me grounded in observation, movement, and storytelling, all of which influence how I design interfaces for real human behavior.
